Camping at COTA during the MotoGP weekend offers fans an incredible way to fully immerse themselves in the race atmosphere.

For those looking to avoid travel hassles during the MotoGP race at COTA, the adjacent campsites provide a great option. Camping at race tracks is a cherished tradition in America, and COTA is no exception.

The COTA circuit offers two official on-site camping options: Premium RV Camping and Dry Camping in Lot N.

Premium RV Camping

This option is for campers with their own RV (recreational vehicle). The cost for a spot in the Premium RV campground is around $10,000 (for F1 race, for MotoGP race the price should be less). While this is a significant amount, it allows you to park your RV close to the track, giving you a unique vantage point to watch the race, especially if you can view it from your RV's roof.

This fee does not include tickets; each person must purchase a General Admission ticket in addition to the Premium RV Camping fee.

You will have one paved stall available, allowing arrival on Thursday and departure by Monday at noon. The campsite includes water and electricity hookups, as well as access to toilets and showers.

These sites sell out quickly, with only about 70-80 spaces available. The pitches are approximately 40 by 20 feet (12 by 6 metres).

Dry Camping in Lot N

Dry Camping representantes a more affordable option. This unpaved area is suitable for tent camping and is located about a 5-minute walk from the race track.

Additional RV services, such as access to showers, gas stations, and fueling, are available for purchase during the race weekend. All necessary facilities are provided, but it’s advisable to bring your own food and drinks.

The pitches in Lot N are also approximately 40 by 20 feet (12 by 6 metres).

Unofficial camping sites

As far as unofficial campsites are concerned, we can recommend Ruiz Parking, which is located near the official T parking lot (exact address 9022 Elroy Rd Del Valle, TX, US 78617) - it's a 15-minute walk to the circuit.

The campground offers hot showers as well as remote toilets.
