RULES FOR VISITORS

As with other MotoGP events, United States Grand Prix visitors must abide by the rules set by the organisers. Below you will find a basic overview of them:

WHAT CAN'T YOU TAKE WITH YOU?

Items that could be used to damage or deface property, obstruct or interrupt the race, or pose a threat to public safety, as well as any merchandise or tickets intended for commercial distribution, and any dangerous objects, are prohibited by law.

All attendees entering the entertainment area will undergo a check/search. Refusal to comply may result in denial of entry without a refund.

Please be aware that certain items are not permitted in the entertainment area. The list of prohibited items includes, but is not limited to:

  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Animals or pets (except for service animals)
  • Bags larger than 12x12x20 inches (approx. 30x30x50 centimetres)
  • Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, skates, segways, golf carts or other unauthorised means of transportation.
  • Coolers, thermoses or refrigerators
  • Metal water bottles
  • Drones
  • Food and beverages
  • Fireworks, explosives, flares or other incendiary devices
  • Glass containers of any kind
  • Unauthorised substances
  • E-liquid or vape juice
  • Items that may be considered a safety hazard or a nuisance to participants or guests (i.e. balls, frisbees, balloons, projectiles, horns, radios, bells, whistles, musical instruments, laser pointers, etc.)
  • non-folding chairs
  • Tents or shelters
  • Unauthorised promotional or commercial material
  • Weapons of any kind, including but not limited to guns, knives, pepper spray, handcuffs, and nightsticks.

WHAT CAN YOU TAKE WITH YOU?

We usually advise MotoGP race attendees to pack light and bring only the essentials: money, phone, a spare battery for your camera, etc. A variety of food and drinks are available at the race circuit. Don’t forget your ticket for each day and a valid ID for yourself and any children.

Here's a list of items you can bring:

  • Baby Strollers
  • Binoculars
  • Blankets
  • Camelbaks (must be empty)
  • One 20oz (approx. 0,6 litre) factory-sealed water bottle per guest
  • Personal photography equipment (e.g., digital cameras, detachable lenses, point-and-shoot digital cameras).
  • Please note that tripods, bipods and monopods will not be allowed.
  • Portable folding chairs
  • Sunscreen (plastic bottle only, no aerosol cans)
  • Umbrellas (small, hand-held)
