ENTERING THE CIRCUIT

Please expect your luggage to be checked at the entrance. Find out what you can bring and what you should leave at home. Whether it's merchandise or food and drink, we recommend that you do not try to deceive the organisers or the security staff. If you are found with a prohibited item, it will be confiscated and disposed of. In extreme cases, you may even be refused entry.

Tickets

  • Please present a valid ticket when entering the circuit. Tickets are controlled electronically, and you can show your ticket on your mobile phone. However, it is recommended that you have a printed version as well.
  • We recommend you book your tickets online. It takes less than two minutes, and you're all set. Check out the best prices here, and don't wait. Some are already sold out! You can choose from seated tickets, general admission to the natural grandstands without a seat reservation or one of the VIP packages.
  • Each code is valid for one entry. Only send your ticket to someone you trust, as someone might misuse it. If you leave the circuit for part of the day, re-tag your ticket with the security guard. If you do not do this, you cannot return to the circuit on the same day. The ticket is not linked to a specific user. Therefore, more than one person can use the same ticket on the circuit on the same day.

Parking

At COTA, spectators have multiple parking options, each with its own pros and cons. Let's break them down:

Official Parking Lots

The primary option is to use the official parking lots provided by COTA. The main advantage of this option is proximity; you can park relatively close to the circuit. However, this convenience comes at a high cost, with prices ranging from around $180 to nearly $300 for a single car. Additionally, traffic around COTA can be challenging during race weekend, potentially adding hours to your travel time to the track.

Unofficial Parking Lots

Unofficial parking lots are typically located about a 15-20 minute walk from the circuit but offer several benefits. The biggest advantage is cost; these lots are significantly cheaper compared to official parking areas. Moreover, because they are not right next to the circuit, accessing them is often easier, potentially saving you considerable time in traffic.

These unofficial lots are usually operated by private individuals, but some have official websites where you can make reservations, which is highly recommended if available. If you plan to pay for parking on the spot, it’s advisable to bring cash, as credit cards may not be accepted.

Opening hours of the circuit

In 2024, COTA's circuit gates were open Friday through Sunday at 8 am. Access to the official parking lot opened at 7:30 am.
